Wilson Waterfowl Report -
Waterfowl numbers 7500 ducks; majority Mallards with remaining mix of wigeons, Common goldeneyes, mergansers, and few Buffleheads, Redheads and Canvasbacks.  2500-3000 Canada geese.  Iceline approx. at Lucas Pt.  Ducks loafing off points from State Park Cove to Hell Creek to Dam to Lucas Point.  West end is ice covered. 
   
Water level 5 ft low
Hunting conditions Cedar Creek boat ramp is dry and inaccessible; Elm Creek boat ramp is iced up. Best opportunity is field hunting. Always get landowner permission before hunting on private lands.  There is no check-in or check-out to hunt Public Lands at Wilson Wildlife Area.
Expected hunting success Waterfowl numbers in region improved; birds flying off reservoir to feed;
